Minutes of the July 2009 Orange Committee Board Meeting

The July 28, 2009, Orange Committee meeting, at the William Woolett Aquatics
Center, was called to order by the chair at 8:00 PM.  In attendance were
Drew Crowell, NOVA; Patrick Gillespie, GWSC; Judi Divan, MVN, Secretary/
Treasurer; Tyler Fenwick, MVN; Kelly McClelland, MVN; Bill Voigt, MVN, Coach
Rep; Steve Pickell, SCAL; Mark Tierney, ORCA; Brent Siemsen, FAST; Marilyn
Bolton, Registration/Meet Ops; Lynda Julson, Review; Ken Russell, AAA, Vice-
Chair; Jess Withey, ORCA; Ashley Yotter, SET; Aaron Hoff, SET; Devon Ames,
STOP, Chair, Kim Hoesterey, NOVA, Program.

Secretary/Treasurer: (Judi Divan) Motion to accept corrected June minutes as
posted. MSP  A motion was made to reimburse 2009-10 meet host AAA $300 for
pool certification. MSP.  ORCA must submit a receipt for the JOMax awards in
order to receive reimbursement.

Coach Representative: (Bill Voigt) No report.

Senior Representative: (Jeri Marshburn) Not present.

Age Group Representative: (Rod Hansen) Not present.

Officials Representative: (Richard Davis) Not present.

Review: (Lynda Julson)  There has not been a Review Meeting.

Meet Ops/Registration: (Marilyn Bolton) Some Orange Committee teams are
consistently late in submitting their entries.  Team entries are due on
the postmark due date, not on the walk-in date.  Late entries are not
acceptable.

Athlete Representative: (Piper Marshburn)  Not present.

Program: (Kim Hoesterey) The bid package has been prepared and is attached
to the meeting minutes in an Excel file.

Bids must be received by September 14, 2009.  The Program Ad Hoc Committee
will meet at 7:00 prior to the regularly scheduled Orange Committee meeting
on September 22, 2009 to review all bids received.  Any meets not bid will be
reopened for bids.  Recommendations on new bids will be voted upon at the
September 22, 2009 Orange Committee meeting.
